From Lincoln Home National Historic Site, head northeast on 8th Street toward Jackson Street. Turn right onto Jackson Street and continue for about 1.5 miles. Merge onto I-55 N and take exit 92B toward Clear Lake Ave. Follow Clear Lake Ave (IL-54) for approximately 3 miles. Turn left onto E Lake Shore Drive. Continue for about 1 mile, and Lincoln Memorial Garden and Nature Center will be on your left at 2301 E Lake Shore Dr, Springfield, IL 62712. There is parking available on-site.

From Lincoln Home National Historic Site, walk to the nearest bus stop at 6th & Adams. Take Sangamon Mass Transit District (SMTD) Bus Route 10 or Route 12.
