Driving
From Dungloe, take the R252 road towards Maghery. Follow this road for approximately 8 kilometers until you reach the sign for Maghery Beach. Turn left onto the access road leading to the beach. There is free parking available near the Community Centre. Note that during peak season and events, parking may be limited.

Public Transport
From Donegal Town, take a Bus Éireann service to Dungloe. From Dungloe, you can take a local taxi to Maghery Beach, which is approximately 8 kilometers away. Taxi fares typically range from €15-€20. Alternatively, during the summer, the TFI bus service operates several routes to Dungloe (271 from Letterkenny, 992 from An Bhraid) and then there is a link bus (967) out to Maghery.

From Maghery village, Maghery Strand is easily accessible by foot. Follow the road towards the coast, and you'll reach the beach in a few minutes. The walk is short and convenient, suitable for individuals with mobility challenges.
