    If you are in the city center of Bergamo (Piazza Vecchia), start by heading towards Via Colleoni. Follow this street until you reach the funicular station (Funicolare Città Alta). Take the funicular to the upper town (Città Alta). Upon exiting the funicular, you will be at Piazza Mercato delle Scarpe. From there, walk up to the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, which is just a few steps away. Continue walking straight until you reach Viale delle Mura. The entrance to Mura Veneziane will be along this road. You can walk along the walls, enjoying the panoramic views.

    From Bergamo's main train station (Stazione di Bergamo), take bus number 1 towards Città Alta. Get off at the stop named 'Città Alta'.
