Walking
From the center of Matera, start at Piazza Vittorio Veneto. Head southeast on Via Don Minzoni towards Via Lucana. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via XX Settembre, then turn left. Follow Via XX Settembre until you reach the main entrance of the Parco Regionale della Murgia Materana. Note that the park is just outside the city, so expect a walk of approximately 30-40 minutes. The park entrance is located near 'Contrada Pizzicotto'.
