Public Transportation
From Hakone, take the Odakyu Line from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Shinjuku Station. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once at Shinjuku, transfer to the JR Chuo Line, heading towards Takao Station. This leg of the trip takes about 50 minutes. Upon arrival at Takao Station, exit the station and follow the signs for the 'Takaosan' trailhead. The Mt Takao Monkey Park & Wildflower Garden is about a 30-minute walk from the station, located at 2179 Takaomachi, Hachioji, Tokyo 193-0844.

If you are driving from Hakone, take Route 1 (also known as the Tōmei Expressway) and follow it towards Hachioji. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit for Hachioji. Continue following the signs for Mt Takao, which will lead you to Takaomachi. The Mt Takao Monkey Park & Wildflower Garden is located at 2179 Takaomachi, Hachioji, Tokyo 193-0844. Parking is available at the site, and there may be a parking fee, so be prepared for that.
