If you're driving to TAKAO 599 MUSEUM from Hakone, start by getting on Route 1 (Tōmei Expressway) from Hakone. Follow the signs to Tokyo and take the exit towards Hachioji. Continue on Route 16 towards Hachioji, then follow the signs for Takaomachi. The museum is located at 2435番3 Takaomachi, Hachioji, Tokyo 193-0844. Parking is available on-site, but be aware that there may be a parking fee.

To reach TAKAO 599 MUSEUM using public transportation, start by taking the train from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Board the Odakyu Line towards Shinjuku and transfer at Shinjuku Station to the JR Chuo Line (Rapid) towards Takao Station. Once at Takao Station, take the bus (Bus No. 34) towards Takaomachi.
