If you are driving from central Hakone, take Route 1 (Hakone Highway) and follow signs towards Hachioji. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Takaosan Cable Car Kiyotaki Station, which is located at 2205 Takaomachi, Hachioji. There is parking available near the cable car station, but be aware of any parking fees that may apply.

Public Transportation - Train
To reach Takaosan Cable Car Kiyotaki Station via public transportation, start by taking the Odakyu Line from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Shinjuku Station in Tokyo. From Shinjuku, transfer to the JR Chuo Line towards Takao Station. Once you arrive at Takao Station, take the Keio Takao Line towards Takaosanguchi Station. From Takaosanguchi Station, it is a short walk to the Takaosan Cable Car Kiyotaki Station. The total travel time may take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on transfer times.

Public Transportation - Bus
Alternatively, you can take a bus from Hakone to Takaosan. Board the Hakone Tozan Bus from Hakone Yumoto Station, which takes you to the Takaosan area. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Takaosan bus stop, follow the signs to the Takaosan Cable Car Kiyotaki Station, which is around a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. The bus fare is approximately 1,000 yen one way.
