If you're driving from Hakone, take Route 1 (National Route 1) heading towards Hachioji. Follow the signs for the Chuo Expressway (中央自動車道) and take the exit for Takaosan. The journey typically takes about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. Once you exit, follow the signs to Takaosan Onsen Gokurakuyu, which is located at 2229番７ Takaomachi, Hachioji, Tokyo 193-0844. There is parking available on-site, but be aware that it may incur a parking fee.

To reach Keio Takaosan Onsen Gokurakuyu via public transportation, start by taking the Odakyu Line from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Shinjuku Station (approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes). From Shinjuku Station, transfer to the Keio Line and take a train to Takaosanguchi Station (about 50 minutes). Upon arrival at Takaosanguchi Station, take the Keio Takaosan Onsen Gokurakuyu shuttle bus (about 10 minutes) that runs regularly to the onsen. The entire journey may cost around ¥1,500 to ¥2,000, including train and bus fares.
