If you are driving, navigate to Sanjo Station located at 2128 Takaomachi, Hachioji, Tokyo 193-0844. From Hakone, take Route 1 towards Hachioji. Follow the signs for the Takaosan area. Once you arrive in Takaomachi, look for signs pointing to the Mt. Takao Echo Lift. There is parking available near the station, but note that there may be a parking fee.

Train and Cable Car
For those using public transportation, start by taking the Odakyu Line from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Shinjuku Station. From Shinjuku, transfer to the Keio Line to Takaosanguchi Station. The train ride from Hakone-Yumoto to Takaosanguchi will take about 1.5 hours. Upon arrival at Takaosanguchi Station, follow the signs to the Mt. Takao Echo Lift, which is a short walk from the station. The lift ride will provide stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Alternatively, you can take a bus from Hakone to Takaosan. Check the local bus schedules for routes that serve the Takaosan area. Once you arrive at the Takaosan bus stop, walk towards the Mt.
