Getting There

    If you are driving from Hakone, head southeast on Route 1 (Tōkaidō) towards Kamakura. Follow the signs for Kamakura, which will lead you to Route 134. After approximately 20-30 minutes, exit onto Route 32 towards Ōmachi. Once you reach the junction, follow the signs to Yakumo Shrine. The shrine is located at 1 Chome-11-20 Ōmachi, Kamakura, Kanagawa 248-0007. Parking is available nearby but may incur a fee.

  • Public Transportation - Train

    To reach Yakumo Shrine via public transport, take the Hakone Tozan Railway from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Gora Station. From Gora, transfer to the Odakyu Line and take a train towards Kamakura. Get off at Kamakura Station. From there, you can either walk or take a bus. The bus will take you to a stop close to the shrine. Be sure to check the bus schedule as it may vary. The total travel time is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. A one-way train ticket will cost around 1,000 JPY.

    If you prefer to take a direct bus, from Hakone, head to the Hakone-Yumoto Bus Terminal and take a bus heading towards Kamakura. The ride will take about 1 hour.
