Experience Wakamiya Oji Park

Getting There

  • Train

    Take the JR Yokosuka Line from Tokyo Station towards Zushi. Alight at Kamakura Station, which is approximately a 1-hour journey. From Kamakura Station, exit the station and head towards the West Exit. Once outside, you will find a sign directing you towards Yuigahama Beach. Walk straight for about 15 minutes, passing by shops and cafes, until you reach the intersection with Yuigahama Street. Turn left at this intersection and continue walking for another 10 minutes. Wakamiya Oji Park will be on your right.

  • Bus

    From Tokyo Station, take the Keio Bus bound for Kamakura Station. The bus ride takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Kamakura Station, exit towards the West Exit. Follow the same directions as the train option: head towards Yuigahama Beach, walk straight for 15 minutes, turn left at the intersection with Yuigahama Street, and continue for another 10 minutes until you reach Wakamiya Oji Park on your right.

  • Subway and Train

    Take the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line from any station towards Yoyogi-Uehara. Change at Yoyogi-Uehara Station to the Odakyu Line and take the express train towards Odawara. Get off at Fujisawa Station, then transfer to the JR Shonan-Shinjuku Line towards Zushi. Alight at Kamakura Station. From there, exit the station via the West Exit and follow the same walking directions to Wakamiya Oji Park.

  • Walking

    If you are already in the vicinity of Kamakura, you can walk to Wakamiya Oji Park from Kamakura Station. Exit the station via the West Exit, head towards Yuigahama Beach, and continue walking straight for about 25 minutes. Keep an eye out for Yuigahama Street on your left, turn left at the intersection, and walk for another 10 minutes until you see Wakamiya Oji Park on your right.
