    If you are driving from central Hida, take Route 158 towards Takayama. Continue on this road for approximately 30 minutes. As you approach Takayama, follow the signs towards Takayama Station. Once you reach Takayama, look for Nishinoisshikimachi Street. Turn left onto Nishinoisshikimachi, and you will find Ryokan Murayama at 3 Chome-829 Nishinoisshikimachi on your right. There is parking available at the ryokan, but it may incur a small fee.

    From Hida, take the JR Takayama Line train to Takayama Station. This journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Takayama Station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal located just outside the station. Look for the local bus services that head towards Nishinoisshikimachi. Get off at the Nishinoisshikimachi stop, which is a short walk from Ryokan Murayama, located at 3 Chome-829 Nishinoisshikimachi.
