From central Takayama, head east on Route 158 (Hida Kaido) towards Kamiokamotomachi. Continue driving for approximately 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Route 472. Turn left onto Route 472 and continue for about 1 kilometer. You will see the sign for Hida Takayama Museum of Art on your right. The museum's entrance is located within the Sanctuary Court Resort.
Public Transportation

From Takayama Station, take the Nohi Bus (Hida Takayama Line) towards Kamioka. The bus will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Kamiokamotomachi' stop. From there, walk 10 minutes east along Route 472, and you will arrive at Hida Takayama Museum of Art, located within Sanctuary Court Resort.
