If you are starting from Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, walk south along Heiwa Odori Street towards the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Nagarekawacho Street. Turn left onto Nagarekawacho Street and walk straight for about 10 minutes. Shintenchi Park will be on your right at 3-13 Nagarekawacho.

From Hiroshima Station, take the Hiroshima Electric Railway Tram (Line 1) towards Hiroshima Port. Get off at the 'Hondori' stop. From there, exit the tram station and head towards the main shopping arcade, Hondori Street. Walk straight through the arcade until you reach the end, where you will find Nagarekawacho Street. Turn right and Shintenchi Park will be on your left at 3-13 Nagarekawacho.
