If you're traveling by car, start from downtown Hitachi and head towards Route 6 (Nihonbashi Street). Follow the signs for Route 6 heading north. After approximately 10 minutes, take the exit for Omikacho. Continue on Omikacho Street and follow the signs for Hitachi Lighthouse. The lighthouse is located at 4 Chome-17 Omikacho, and you will find parking available nearby. Please note that parking may incur a fee, so keep some change or a credit card handy.

For those using public transportation, take the JR Joban Line from Hitachi Station. Board a train heading towards Toride or Ueno. After about a 10-minute ride, get off at the Katsuta Station.
