Getting There

  • Car

    From Hizen, head north on Route 207. Continue on Route 207 for approximately 30 km until you reach the junction with Route 6. Merge onto Route 6 and drive for around 20 km. Take the exit toward Hitachi City, and follow the signs for Minatocho. Once you reach Minatocho, continue straight until you arrive at 5774 Minatocho, Hitachi, Ibaraki 319-1223. There is parking available near the port, but keep in mind that parking fees may apply.

    Start at Hizen Station and take the JR Nagazumi Line towards Nagazumi. Transfer at Mito Station to the JR Joban Line towards Toride. Ride for about 45 minutes until you reach Hitachi Station.
