    If you're driving from central Hitachi, head south on Route 6 towards Mito. Continue on Route 6 for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 51. Take a right onto Route 51 and continue for approximately 15 kilometers. Merge onto the Joban Expressway at the Kairakuen Interchange. Stay on the expressway for about 80 kilometers, then take the exit for Koto City. Follow the signs to Miyoshi and make your way to 4 Chome-1-1 Miyoshi. The Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo will be on your left.

  • Train

    To reach the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo by train, start at Hitachi Station. Take the JR Joban Line and head towards Ueno Station. At Ueno Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line and travel to Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Station. From Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Station, take Exit 2 and walk about 1 kilometer towards the museum. Follow the signs that lead you to 4 Chome-1-1 Miyoshi. The museum will be on your left.

    From Hitachi, take the Hitachi-Naka City bus to Mito Station. At Mito Station, transfer to a highway bus heading to Tokyo. Get off at Koto City and from there, you can either take a taxi or a local bus that goes to Miyoshi. The bus stop you need is close to the museum, which is located at 4 Chome-1-1 Miyoshi. The museum will be within walking distance from the bus stop.
