Car
If you are driving, start from central Izu. Head south on Route 135 towards Itō. Continue on Route 135 for about 20 minutes until you reach the town of Itō. Once in Itō, follow the signs to Mt. Omuro, which is well-marked. The drive will take you through scenic coastal views. Upon arrival, there is a parking lot available near the base of the mountain. Parking fees may apply, typically around 500 yen.

Train and Bus
For those using public transport, take the Izu Kyuko Line from Izukyu-Shimoda Station to Itō Station. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once at Itō Station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal located adjacent to the station. Take the bus bound for 'Omuroyama' (Mt. Omuro) which runs frequently. The bus ride will take around 15 minutes. The bus fare is approximately 400 yen. Disembark at the Mt. Omuro stop, where you will find the trailhead.
