If you are driving from Kai, head northeast on Route 20 towards Kofu. Continue for approximately 30 km until you reach the Takeda Interchange on the Chuo Expressway. Merge onto the Chuo Expressway and continue towards Tokyo. After about 70 km, take the exit towards Ueno and follow signs for Ueno Park. The Tokyo National Museum - Kuroda Memorial Hall is located within Ueno Park, at 13-9 Uenokoen, Taito City, Tokyo. Parking is available at nearby lots, but may incur costs ranging from 500 to 1500 yen depending on the duration of your stay.

To reach the Tokyo National Museum - Kuroda Memorial Hall via public transportation from Kai, start at Kai Station. Take the JR Chuo Line (Rapid) towards Tokyo. After approximately 60 minutes, transfer at Shinjuku Station to the JR Yamanote Line. Board a train heading towards Ueno Station. Once you arrive at Ueno Station (about 10 minutes from Shinjuku), take the East Exit. From there, it is a 10 to 15-minute walk to Ueno Park.
