From Tokyo, take the Tohoku Expressway (E4) heading north. Follow the signs for Utsunomiya and continue on the expressway for about 2 hours. After passing the Utsunomiya Interchange, take the Nikko interchange exit. From there, follow Route 119 towards Nikko city. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes.
