Car
If you are traveling by car, use the following steps: Start by navigating to the Nishi-Meihan Expressway. Take the expressway towards Yamatokoriyama City. Once you reach the Yamatokoriyama IC (Interchange), take the exit and follow the signs for Route 24, heading towards Yamatokoriyama City. Continue on this route for about 10 minutes until you reach Jonaicho. You can park your car in one of the nearby parking areas, as there are several options available close to the Koriyama Castle Ruins.

If you prefer public transportation, take the Kintetsu Line from Osaka or Kyoto to Yamatokoriyama Station. The journey from Osaka takes approximately 45 minutes, while from Kyoto it takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Yamatokoriyama Station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal. You can take a local bus that goes to Jonaicho, which is near the Koriyama Castle Ruins. The bus ride will take about 10 minutes. Alternatively, if you prefer walking, it is about a 20-minute walk from the station to the ruins.

Once you arrive at Yamatokoriyama Station, you can take a local city bus. Look for bus line 1 or 2 that heads towards Jonaicho. The fare for the bus ride is approximately 200 yen. After getting off at the Jonaicho stop, follow the signs that lead to Koriyama Castle Ruins, which is just a short walk from the bus stop.
