If you are driving, head towards the city center of Koshi. From there, take Route 57 towards Shimabara. Continue on Route 57 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach Shimabara. Once you enter Shimabara, follow signs towards 'Shitanocho' and look for local signage directing you to Bukeyashiki Yamamoto-tei. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared to pay for parking, which typically costs around 500 yen.

Public Transportation - Train
Take the Nishitetsu Omuta Line from Koshi Station to Shimabara Station. The train ride will take about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Shimabara Station, exit the station and look for the local bus service. Board the bus heading towards 'Shitanocho'. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Shitanocho' stop, and Bukeyashiki Yamamoto-tei will be a short 5-minute walk from there.

From Koshi, take a local bus heading towards Shimabara. Buses depart regularly, and the journey will take around 50 minutes. After arriving at Shimabara, transfer to a local bus that goes to 'Shitanocho'. This second leg will take about 15 minutes.
