If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Kyoto and head northwest on Route 9 (Kyoto Prefectural Road 9) towards Sagano. After approximately 10 km, take a right turn onto Route 38. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with Sagatenryuji Tateishicho. Nonomiya Shrine will be located on your left at 1 Sagatenryuji Tateishicho, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto, 616-8375. There is limited parking available near the shrine, so plan to arrive early if possible.

Public Transportation
To reach Nonomiya Shrine using public transportation, start by taking the JR San-In Line from Kyoto Station to Saga-Arashiyama Station. This journey takes about 20 minutes, and you will need to pay approximately 240 yen for the ticket. Once you arrive at Saga-Arashiyama Station, exit the station and head northwest following the signs for Nonomiya Shrine. It's about a 15-minute walk (1.2 km) from the station. You can also find local buses that service the area, but walking will allow you to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near Kyoto Station. Head northwest on the Kyoto Cycle Path, which leads you towards Arashiyama. Follow the path along the river and continue towards Saga-Arashiyama. Upon reaching the area, follow the signs to Nonomiya Shrine, which is approximately a 5 km ride from the center of Kyoto. This journey offers beautiful views of the countryside and takes about 30 minutes.
