If you are traveling by car, start your journey from central Kyoto. Head north on Route 9, then merge onto the Kyoto Jukan Expressway (Kyoto Outer Ring Road). Take Exit 5 for Saga/Arashiyama. Continue on Prefectural Route 27 toward Saga. Follow the signs for Nonomiya Shrine. The address is 〒616-8375 Kyoto, Ukyo Ward, 嵯峨野宮町1. There is a small parking area near the shrine, which may cost around ¥500 for a few hours.

Public Transportation
To reach Nonomiya Shrine using public transportation, take the JR San-in Line from Kyoto Station to Saga-Arashiyama Station. The ride takes about 15 minutes. From Saga-Arashiyama Station, you can take a bus (Kyoto City Bus #93 or #28) towards Arashiyama and get off at Nonomiya Shrine bus stop. The shrine is a short walk from the bus stop, about 5 minutes. The bus fare is approximately ¥230.

Walking from Saga-Arashiyama Station
If you prefer walking from Saga-Arashiyama Station, exit the station and head southwest towards the river. Cross the Togetsukyo Bridge and continue along the river for about 15-20 minutes. You will see signs directing you to Nonomiya Shrine. The route is scenic and will give you a taste of the beautiful countryside.
