If you're driving from central Kyoto, take the R38 road northwest towards Saga. Follow the signs for Saga and Arashiyama. After approximately 10 km, you will reach the Saga area. Look for signs directing you to Rakushisha, located at 20 Sagaogurayama Hinomyojincho, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto, 616-8391. There is limited parking available near the site, so arrive early if you're visiting on a weekend.

To reach Rakushisha via public transport, head to JR Saga-Arashiyama Station. From Kyoto Station, take the JR San-in Line (approximately 20 minutes, costing around 240 yen). Upon arrival at Saga-Arashiyama Station, exit the station and walk towards the north exit. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Rakushisha. You can follow the road signs, or use a map app to guide you to 20 Sagaogurayama Hinomyojincho, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto, 616-8391. The area is well signposted and you will pass by scenic spots along the way.
