    From Kyoto Station, take bus number 50 or 101 towards 'Kitaoji Bus Terminal'. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Jozenji' stop. From the bus stop, it is a short 2-minute walk to the Jozenji temple. Head down Jozenji Monzencho Street, and you will find the temple at the address 338 Jozenji Monzencho, Kita Ward.

    From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line (green line) towards 'Kitaoji'. Get off at 'Kitaoji Station' (approximately 15 minutes).
