Public Transport - Subway
If you are at Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Subway Line (green line) towards Kokusaikaikan. Travel for 3 stops and get off at Karasuma Oike Station. At Karasuma Oike Station, switch to the Tozai Subway Line (light blue line) towards Uzumasa Tenjingawa. Ride for 2 stops and alight at Nijojo-mae Station. From the station, exit through the 1st exit. Walk straight for about 5 minutes towards the Nijo Castle, and then turn left onto Karasuma Dori. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto, which will be on your left along the Kamogawa River.
