If you are already in Gion, Yasaka-jinja Shrine is just a short walk away. From the Gion Corner, head east on Shirakawa Minami-dori Street. Continue straight for about 10 minutes, passing by several traditional wooden machiya houses. Once you reach the intersection with Gionmachi Kitagawa Street, turn right. The entrance to Yasaka-jinja Shrine will be on your left, just a few steps down the road.

If you prefer to take a bus, you can catch the Kyoto City Bus from Gion. Look for the bus stop named 'Gion' and take bus number 100 or 206. The ride will take approximately 5 minutes. Get off at the 'Higashiyama Yasui' stop, and from there, it’s just a 5-minute walk to the shrine. Head west along Yasui Street, then turn left onto Gionmachi Kitagawa Street; the shrine will be on your right.
