If you are starting from Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line or the JR Tokaido Line to Tofukuji Station. From Tofukuji Station, transfer to the Keihan Main Line and head towards Demachiyanagi Station. Alight at Sanjo Station. From Sanjo Station, exit the station and head west along Sanjo Street until you reach the Kamo River. Continue walking until you reach Shijo Street.
