Public Transport
From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line subway towards Kokusai Kaikan. Transfer at the next station, Karasuma Oike, and switch to the Tozai Line subway towards Uzumasa Tenjingawa. Get off at the next stop, Nijojo-mae Station. Exit the station and head northwest on Horikawa-dori Street for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Kinugasa Tenjinmoricho. Turn right and walk for approximately 5 minutes until you arrive at Shikichi Shrine (Wara Tenjingu) located at 10 Kinugasa Tenjinmoricho.

If you are near Nijo Castle, head north on Horikawa-dori Street. Continue walking for about 20 minutes until you reach the intersection of Kinugasa Tenjinmoricho. Turn left and walk for another 5 minutes. Shikichi Shrine (Wara Tenjingu) will be on your right at 10 Kinugasa Tenjinmoricho.
