If you're driving from Nara city center, take National Route 369 towards Uda. Follow the signs for Uda, and as you get closer, you will see signs directing you to Uda-Matsuyama Castle Ruins. The address is Oudahirou, Uda, Nara 633-2164. There is parking available near the castle ruins.

From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Uda-Shinmeisha Station. This journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Uda-Shinmeisha Station, exit the station and look for the local bus service that heads towards the Matsuyama area. You may need to transfer to a local bus depending on the schedule. Exit the bus at the stop closest to Uda-Matsuyama Castle Ruins. The address is Oudahirou, Uda, Nara 633-2164, and from there, it's a short walk to the ruins.
