Getting There

  • Train

    From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Osaka Namba. After about 30 minutes, transfer at Yamato-Saidaiji Station to the Kintetsu Nara Line, continuing until you reach the Higashi-Hanazono Station. From Higashi-Hanazono Station, exit and walk south on Route 165 for about 10 minutes until you reach Ishikiri Tsurugiya Jinja.

    From Nara's central area, head to the Nara Bus Terminal. Take the bus number 70 (Nara-Higashiosaka Line) towards Higashiosaka and get off at Ishikiri Tsurugiya Jinja bus stop. The shrine will be right next to the bus stop, just a short walk away.
