Getting There

Bus
From Nara Park, walk to the Nara Kintetsu Station (about 10 minutes). Take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kyoto Station (approximately 45 minutes). At Kyoto Station, transfer to the JR Sanin Line and take a train to Saga-Arashiyama Station (about 20 minutes). From Saga-Arashiyama Station, exit the station and walk towards the Arashiyama area. Follow the signs or use a map to walk to Matsunoo-taisha Shrine, which should take around 20 minutes.

From Nara, head to Nara Station. Take the JR Nara Line to Kyoto Station (approximately 45 minutes), then transfer to the JR Sanin Line and travel to Arashiyama Station (around 20 minutes). After arriving at Arashiyama Station, look for the bus stop in front of the station and take either the Kyoto Bus or the Saga Arashiyama Line Bus to Matsunoo-taisha Shrine. The bus ride should take about 10-15 minutes.
