Car
If you're driving from Omi, head east on Route 142 towards Suwa. After approximately 30 km, merge onto Route 20. Continue on Route 20 for about 15 km until you reach the Tateshina area. Follow the signs for Ikenotaira Snow Park (formerly Birch Resort Ski Area). The resort is located at 1596 Ashidahakkano, Tateshina, Kitasaku District, Nagano 384-2309. Parking is available on-site, though there may be a parking fee, so be prepared for that.

Public Transportation
To reach Ikenotaira Snow Park by public transport, first take a train from Omi to Chino Station via the JR Chuo Line. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once at Chino Station, transfer to the Alpico Kotsu bus service that travels to Tateshina. The bus ride will take approximately 50 minutes. Get off at the Ikenotaira Snow Park bus stop. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may be limited, especially on weekdays.
