Car
If you are driving from central Satsuma, head east on Route 3. Continue on this road for about 20 km until you reach Kagoshima city. Follow signs for Nishisengokucho and turn onto Route 10. After approximately 5 km, you will arrive at 1 Nishisengokucho, Kagoshima, where the Statue of Okubo Toshimichi is located. There is parking available near the statue, but please note that it may incur a small fee.

From Satsuma, take the local bus service to Kagoshima. Look for the bus that heads towards Kagoshima Chuo Station, which is a major hub. The journey will take around 30-40 minutes.
