To reach the Way of Kotsukigawa History Road using public transport, take a bus from Satsuma to Kagoshima. Look for the bus line that goes to Kagoshima Chuo Station. Upon arrival at the station, transfer to a local bus that goes to Kajiyacho. Disembark at the Kajiyacho stop, from where it's a short walk to the destination. The minimum adult bus fare in Kagoshima is ¥180.
