Getting There

Car
If you're driving from central Settsu, head southeast on Route 171 towards Kyoto. Continue on this road for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 1. Merge onto Route 1 and follow the signs for Kyoto. After about 5 kilometers, take the exit toward Higashiyama. Follow the signs for the Yamato-bashi Bridge, which should be about 2 kilometers ahead. Parking may be available nearby, but be mindful of local parking regulations.

Train and Walk
Start at Settsu City Station and take the Hankyu Kyoto Line towards Kawaramachi Station. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Kawaramachi Station, exit the station and head east along Shijo Street toward the Kamo River. Cross the river using the Shijo Bridge. Once you cross the bridge, turn left and walk along the riverbank for about 10 minutes until you reach Yamato-bashi Bridge. The walk offers beautiful views of the river and surrounding area.

From Settsu, take the bus number 1 from Settsu Station to Kyoto Station. The bus ride takes around 30 minutes. At Kyoto Station, transfer to the Kyoto City Bus number 100 or 206 towards Higashiyama. Get off at the stop named 'Higashiyama.' From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Yamato-bashi Bridge. The bus fare will be approximately 240 yen.
