If you are driving, start from the center of Shinano. Take Route 18 (Shin-etsu Expressway) heading towards Myoko. Continue on Route 18 for approximately 20 km until you reach the exit for Myoko Kogen. Follow the signs for Myoko and turn onto Route 292. Continue on Route 292 for about 10 km until you see the signs for Sasagamine Campsite. The campsite is located in Suginosawa, Myoko, Niigata 949-2113. Make sure to check the road conditions, especially during winter months.

To reach Sasagamine Campsite using public transportation, start by taking a train from Shinano Station to Myoko Kogen Station. The train ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Myoko Kogen Station, you can take a local bus heading towards Suginosawa. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the Suginosawa stop and walk about 1 km to reach Sasagamine Campsite. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited, especially on weekends.
