    From Nagano Station, take the Nagano Electric Railway to Yudanaka Station. The ride takes approximately 45 minutes by limited express or 70 minutes by local train. From Yudanaka Station, follow the walking directions to the temple. The train fare is approximately ¥1,290 for the limited express with an unreserved seat. Alternatively, a Snow Monkey Pass offers unlimited use of trains and buses between Nagano and Yamanouchi, including admission to the Jigokudani Monkey Park, for ¥4,000.
