Experience Yakusugi Land

Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start from Yakushima Airport and head southwest on Route 222. Continue for about 15 km until you reach the intersection with Route 77. Turn left onto Route 77 and follow the signs for Yakusugi Land. After about 8 km, you will see the entrance to Yakusugi Land on your right. There is parking available at the entrance, which may incur a fee.

  • Public Transportation

    From Yakushima's Anbo Port or Yakushima Airport, take a bus operated by the Yakushima Green Tourism company heading towards Yakusugi Land. The bus ride takes approximately 40 minutes and costs around 1,500 yen. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited, especially on weekends and holidays. The bus will drop you off directly at the entrance of Yakusugi Land.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from your location in Yakushima. This option is more expensive, with fares typically ranging from 4,000 to 6,000 yen depending on your starting point. Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
