Discover the Majestic Manshuk Mametova Peak

Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Cholpon-Ata, head north along the main road (Tashkent Street) towards the lake. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the mountains. Look for signs indicating the direction to Manshuk Mametova Peak. Turn left onto this road and follow it for another 2 kilometers. You will see an entrance to the nature preserve area; continue on foot from there for a short hike until you reach the peak.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Cholpon-Ata. Start from the central area and head north along Tashkent Street, pedaling towards the lake. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn left at the intersection towards the mountains. Cycle along this road for approximately 2 kilometers until you spot the entrance to the nature preserve. Secure your bicycle at the entrance and hike the remaining distance to reach Manshuk Mametova Peak.

• Public Transport

  Take a local minibus (known as 'marshrutka') from the central bus station in Cholpon-Ata heading towards the mountain region. Inform the driver that you want to go to Manshuk Mametova Peak or look for signs indicating the peak. The bus will drop you off at the closest stop. From there, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the nature preserve entrance. Once you arrive, you can hike up to the peak.
