Operating year-round, Air-Davos takes advantage of the favorable flying conditions in Davos, considered one of Switzerland's top winter flying areas. In the summer, flights often launch from Jakobshorn or Gotschnagrat, utilizing the cable cars to reach optimal altitudes. Winter flights typically take off from Jatzhütte on the Jakobshorn, where thermals are common even in the colder months.
During the 15- to 35-minute flight, passengers can choose between a relaxing glide or more thrilling maneuvers, with pilots often sharing insights about the surrounding nature and landmarks. Air-Davos also captures photos and videos of the flight, providing participants with lasting memories of their paragliding experience.

Getting There
Walking
Air-Davos Paragliding is located at Bahnhofstrasse 11, a short walk from the Davos Platz train station. From the station, exit towards the main street and walk east along Bahnhofstrasse. The office is situated on the left-hand side. No costs are associated with walking.
Public Transport
The Davos Platz train station is a central hub for local buses. Several bus lines stop near Bahnhofstrasse 11. Check the SBB website or local bus schedules for the most up-to-date routes and times. A single fare for a short trip within Davos costs approximately CHF 2-3.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Davos, particularly at the Davos Platz train station. A short taxi ride from the station to Air-Davos Paragliding on Bahnhofstrasse 11 will cost approximately CHF 15-25, depending on traffic and the taxi company.
Parking
If arriving by car, several parking garages are available near Bahnhofstrasse. The Parkhaus Silvretta at Bahnhofstrasse 1 offers hourly rates of CHF 1.50, with daily rates around CHF 18. The Davos Congress Centre car park is also nearby, with hourly rates of CHF 1.00 and daily rates starting at CHF 8. Be aware of a nighttime parking ban from November 1st to April 30th, between 3 AM and 7 AM.
