If you are traveling by car, start from downtown Portland and head south on I-295. Take exit 4 for ME-77 S toward Cape Elizabeth. Continue on ME-77 S for about 5 miles. As you approach Cape Elizabeth, look for Kettle Cove Road on your right. Turn onto Kettle Cove Road, and follow it until you reach the entrance to Kettle Cove State Park. There is parking available, and be aware that it may incur a parking fee during peak season.

To reach Kettle Cove State Park using public transportation, take the South Portland Bus from the Greater Portland area. You can catch the bus at various locations in downtown Portland. Ask the bus driver for directions to the nearest stop near Kettle Cove. Once you get off, you may need to walk a short distance (approximately 1 mile) to reach the park. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the latest times and possible transfers.
