If you're traveling by car, head towards the town of Mangochi. From Mangochi, take the M5 road heading north along the lakeshore. Continue on the M5 for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Sunga Moyo Campsite and Lodge, which is located near the coordinates 4549+H28. Look for signage indicating the campsite as you approach. The journey should take about 30 minutes from Mangochi.

For those using public transportation, you can take a minibus from any major town around Lake Malawi to Mangochi. Once in Mangochi, you may need to hire a local taxi or arrange for a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to reach Sunga Moyo Campsite and Lodge. The distance to the campsite from Mangochi is about 25 kilometers, and the taxi or boda-boda fare should range between 2,000 to 5,000 MWK depending on negotiation and the type of vehicle.
