After 1 stop, get off at Gallery Place-Chinatown and switch to the Green Line towards Greenbelt. Travel for 2 stops and get off at the L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station. Exit the station and walk towards 7th St SW, then turn right onto Independence Ave SW. Continue walking until you reach 18th St NW, then turn left. The Art Museum of the Americas will be on your left at 201 18th St NW.

    From the Silver Spring Transit Center, take the Metrobus Z2 towards the Takoma Metro Station. Get off at the stop on Colesville Rd & Fenton St. Transfer to the Metrobus 70 towards the 16th St & U St NW.
