Getting There

Bicycle
From Tulum, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in the town center. Head north on Av. Tulum, and continue until you reach the intersection with Carretera Tulum-Cobá (Mex 109). Turn left onto Carretera Tulum-Cobá and cycle for about 7 km. You will see a sign for Cenote Kuxtal on your right. Follow the signs to the cenote entrance.

Taxi
If you prefer not to cycle, you can take a taxi from any location in Tulum. Simply ask the driver to take you to Cenote Kuxtal, which is located along the Tulum-Cobá highway (Carretera Tulum-Cobá). The ride should take approximately 15 minutes. Make sure to confirm the price with the driver before starting your journey.

Collective Van (Colectivo)
You can also take a colectivo from Tulum to Cobá. Head to the main colectivo station near the ADO bus terminal in Tulum. Look for a van heading towards Cobá and board it. Ask the driver to drop you off at the cenote, or at the intersection with Carretera Tulum-Cobá. From there, it’s a short walk (about 1 km) to Cenote Kuxtal. Follow the road signs directing you to the cenote.
