From the center of Tulum, head south on Avenida Tulum. After about 1 km, turn left onto Carretera Tulum-Coba (also known as Highway 109). Continue for approximately 4 km. You will see signs for Cenote Mariposa. Turn left onto the dirt road where the signs indicate the cenote. Follow the road for another 500 meters until you arrive at Cenote Mariposa.

Starting from Parque Principal in Tulum, walk south on Avenida Tulum towards the beach. After about 1 km, take a left onto Carretera Tulum-Coba. Continue walking along the side of the road for about 4 km. Be cautious of traffic. Look for signs indicating Cenote Mariposa and take the left onto the dirt road. Walk for about 500 meters until you reach the cenote.
