    If you are in downtown Mount Pleasant, start at the Mount Pleasant City Hall, located on 320 W. Broadway St. Head south on Broadway St toward E. Michigan Ave. After 0.2 miles, turn left onto E. Michigan Ave and continue walking for approximately 0.5 miles. You will reach the intersection with S. Mission St. Turn right and walk for another 0.3 miles until you reach the Mount Pleasant City Park. From there, head south through the park and continue onto S. Main St. Walk for about 0.4 miles, then turn left onto W. High St. After 0.2 miles, you will find yourself at the entrance of Washington Square.

    For those who prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local rental service in Mount Pleasant. Start at the rental location and head west on W. Broadway St. Follow it until you reach the intersection with S. Mission St, where you will turn left.
