If you are in downtown Mount Pleasant, start at the Mount Pleasant City Hall, located on 320 W. Broadway St. Head south on Broadway St toward E. Michigan Ave. After 0.2 miles, turn left onto E. Michigan Ave and continue walking for approximately 0.5 miles. You will reach the intersection with S. Mission St. Turn right and walk for another 0.3 miles until you reach the Mount Pleasant City Park. From there, head south through the park and continue onto S. Main St. Walk for about 0.4 miles, then turn left onto W. High St. After 0.2 miles, you will find yourself at the entrance of Washington Square.

For those who prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local rental service in Mount Pleasant. Start at the rental location and head west on W. Broadway St. Follow it until you reach the intersection with S. Mission St, where you will turn left. Continue south and enjoy the bike lanes, which will lead you directly to the Mount Pleasant City Park. Cycle through the park, then take the path leading south to S. Main St. Follow S. Main St. until you reach W. High St, where you will turn left. After cycling 0.2 miles, you will arrive at Washington Square.

To get to Washington Square using public transport, look for the local bus service that operates in Mount Pleasant. Board the bus at the nearest station to your location. Make sure to ask the driver for the bus that goes toward downtown Mount Pleasant. Once you get off at the downtown stop, head east on E. Michigan Ave for about 0.5 miles. At the intersection with S. Main St, turn right and walk south for another 0.4 miles. Finally, take a left onto W. High St, and after 0.2 miles, you will arrive at Washington Square.
