If you are traveling by car, you can start from the nearest town in the Helambu region, such as Melamchi. From Melamchi, head southwest on the road towards Kathmandu. After about 15 kilometers, look for signs directing you to Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park. Turn left onto the entrance road, which will lead you directly to the park. Note that parking is available at the park entrance, and there may be a small fee for parking.

Public Transportation
To reach Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park using public transport, take a local bus or microbus from Melamchi to Kathmandu. Once you are in Kathmandu, head to the bus station at Ratna Park and look for a bus heading towards Sundarijal. The bus ride will take approximately 1-2 hours depending on traffic. Get off at Sundarijal, which is the main gateway to the park. From Sundarijal, you can either walk to the park entrance (approximately a 30-minute walk) or hire a local taxi to take you there. There is an entry fee for the park, so make sure to carry some Nepali Rupees.
