    If you are starting from the center of Kathmandu, head to the Ratna Park area. From there, find a local bus heading to Budhanilkantha. Board the bus and inform the conductor that you are going to Budhanilkantha School. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Budhanilkantha, walk towards the Budhanilkantha Temple. From the temple, walk approximately 1 kilometer northwest along the Main Road, and you will reach Hare Krishna Dham on your left.

  • Using Local Bus

    From Thamel area, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch a local bus heading to Budhanilkantha. Ensure to get on a bus that has 'Budhanilkantha' written on it. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you get off at Budhanilkantha, navigate towards the Budhanilkantha Temple. After visiting the temple, proceed northwest along the Main Road for about 1 kilometer to reach Hare Krishna Dham, which will be on your left-hand side.

    Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Thamel. Head towards the ring road and follow the signs for Budhanilkantha. It is approximately a 10-12 km ride from Thamel to Budhanilkantha. Once you reach Budhanilkantha, park your bicycle near the Budhanilkantha Temple. From there, ride or walk approximately 1 kilometer northwest on the Main Road to reach Hare Krishna Dham Kathmandu, which will be on your left.
